Its location in Ilminster was quiet and ideal, next to Castle Neroche, the garden at the back of the pub and Ilminster for one night. The breakfast was generous and superb with a great selection of savoury food on offer.
Everything great!

charming stay near beautiful parks and interesting landmarks
The location was just perfect for taking strolls to local attractions like the Ilminster Arts Centre, less than 5 km away, and Barrington Hill Meadows, only 3 km from the inn, perfect for those weekend walks I love so much.

missingWrote a review on 14 Novlimited servicing
Unfortunately, the room lacked adequate servicing during a longer stay, which could be a letdown for those used to daily refreshes. There was only one chair in a double room, and the overall lighting was poor at the far end where the tea-making facilities were located. The plastic drinking glasses felt a bit unrefined, similar to the scratchy duvet cover and lumpy pillows that could take away from comfort, not to mention towels that felt worn out. The breakfast menu lacked the variety that some might expect, since cereal and toast weren't readily offered, though they were provided upon request, which reminded me of an oversight.

The five dials inn is such a friendly n cozy little place! The staff were super cute n. Our standard double room was super comfy n clean. Dinner was delicious, like first class cuisine and breakfast? Totally excellent too! Loved the good vibe of the bar n the local beers, had a blast celebrating my friends' anniversary!
Only thing is parking could be a bit tricky, but i managed to find a spot no drama. The price was a tiny bit on the high side for what we had.

The studio room was amazing-warm, clean, with very nice attention to detail. The bed was so soft! Sarah, the owner, was great. And the crème brûlée with toffee apple dessert? Just divine! I wholeheartedly recommend this place when in the area!

Fantastic Room and Amazing Meals
The room was spacious with a super comfy king-size bed, and I appreciated the complimentary water. Dinner was really good, with good dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients, and breakfast lived up to the hype with a great variety. The cute atmosphere, and it was great fun mingling with the friendly locals in the bar. If I had to suggest an improvement, I would love to see an expanded dessert menu!

Great food and comfy stay!
The room was super clean and comfy, bigger than we thought! Dinner was delish, I had the steak pie and it was served hot. Breakfast the next day was a full English, yum! Only wish there'd been more parking spots, had to squeeze in a bit.

We had a lovely stay with a warm meal and a comfy bed. The garden area is perfect for unwinding with some outdoor seating and a beautiful view. Just a heads up, the room lacked a second chair, but that didn't put a damper on our experience. 😊
